AMP Engineering was engaged by Off Shore Projects to deliver civil works along the Appin Road frontage, comprising driveway access modifications, stormwater drainage installation and reconstruction of kerb, footpath and road pavement, in accordance with the accepted TfNSW drawings.
• Construction of a new 6.5 m wide commercial driveway crossing and layback, including connections to the existing frontage levels
• Removal of the redundant driveway layback and reinstatement of SA kerb and gutter
• Reconstruction of the affected driveway at 47 Appin Road
• Reconstruction of affected concrete footpath sections to Wollondilly Council details, maintaining pedestrian access and continuity
• Installation of 225 mm diameter PVC stormwater drainage, connecting the proposed 900 x 900 mm internal pit to the existing Appin Road kerb inlet pit
• Excavation, pipe bedding, jointing, backfilling and compaction, including sealing the connection and making good the existing pit
• Sawcutting and reconstruction of affected road pavement, with asphalt resurfacing over a minimum 1.5 m width at the nominated frontage locations
• Pavement reinstatement incorporating minimum 200 mm DGB20 base and 50 mm AC14 wearing course, with underlying asphalt and tie-ins as detailed
• Location and verification of existing utilities, including NBN and pressure sewer services, with protection or adjustment where required
• Maintenance of existing stormwater connections and subsurface drainage, and reinstatement of disturbed surfaces
The works were delivered in accordance with the accepted design levels, TfNSW details and Council standards, with existing services and site levels verified before construction.
